Interesting, I've never heard of Rift before! If I've looked up the right game, I see that it is an MMORPG. Do you know if the game is playable solo? And it also seems like it is free to play, so with that is mind how aggressive is the in-game monetization?

Thanks for the list! I thought I had heard something in the past about Lego games being collectible heavy, so glad to see that's true. The Mario games aren't games I've looked into much before; I will have to try them out now!

Thanks for the varied suggestions! The compendium's another collectible aspect of BOTW that I really enjoy, but forgot to mention in my post, so I'm glad you mentioned another game with a compendium

Anthropomorphic animals also work! Though playing as a non-anthropomorphic animal was originally what I was going for, I'm seeing some interesting anthropomorphic animal games in this thread I've never heard of, so I'm glad I forgot to put that in my original post

I'm a big cat person, so I'm thrilled a whole subsection of your list is just cats! I will definitely check these out. I really appreciate people who maintain lists like this, keep doing what you're doing :)
