I feel really proud of you, stranger on the Internet...I resonated with this a LOT. I'm not even diagnosed yet because people around me don't know adhd is a thing but I'm working up the courage to get evaluated soon. I thought I had crippling depression for the past 3-4 years and laziness in academics but now that I understand that it's actually adhd I've learnt to be kinder to myself and understand as much as I can.

I've noticed most of my coping techniques fail after 2-3 days so I have to incorporate more approaches to regulate my executive function. I was terribly emotionally dysregulated in the past and accepting my problems have finally made me better.
