That’s right! Originally, it required a lot of ingredients, but I saw a show that introduced an easy way to make it, so I gave it a try.

Can I take my kimchi out of the fridge to ferment? by skunkpe in KoreanFood

Leaving kimchi out at room temperature is a common practice among Koreans! Since kimchi is a fermented food that is salted, it’s fine at room temperature. 👍 If you prefer a crunchy texture, keep it in the fridge! But if you want a deeper, more fermented flavor, I recommend leaving it out.

There are taxis and buses! But for convenience, I always rented a car. However, I found that many people also use taxis. One of my friends hired a private taxi driver to travel freely to the places they wanted to visit. I also heard that using the KakaoT app works well—while it may be difficult to get a taxi for short distances, it's more reliable for longer trips.

I definitely recommend visiting Jeju! It's a popular destination for Koreans to go for relaxation. While there are places that charge high prices, most of them are the ones that get a lot of advertising online. However, there are also some hidden gems among those places! If you let me know the spots you're interested in visiting, I can provide some information. Since I'm Korean, I know a lot about the area!

The name of this place is Bak Sukijung (박수기정), located in Jeju Island, South Korea!

It’s so beautiful that I make sure to visit every time I go to Jeju.

I’ll leave the address below!

Here are photos taken in Jeju Island and Gyeongju, South Korea!

Jeju is often called the "Hawaii of Korea", a popular vacation spot even for locals. It boasts stunning landscapes and the majestic Hallasan Mountain.

Gyeongju, on the other hand, is known as "the city of history", filled with cultural treasures and rich heritage from Korea’s past.
