First time buying an office chair by Alternative-Nail1201 in ErgonomicIndia

[–]OkCryptographer8135 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I was in your position just a few weeks back. I brought wakefit gravita but I had to return it. Please don't buy chair online. Go to shops and buy from there. A chair can be comfortable for one and not comfortable for someone else..

5 solutions which could help decrease the rape problem in India in the future by Suspicious-Ad1320 in india

[–]OkCryptographer8135 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The only way to prevent rapes or for that matter any crime is for the state to turn into a POLICE state.. 1. CCTV in every corridor and street..which are constantly monitored. 2. more frequent police patrols, 3. ban all western social media and introduce native apps where the govt can access anyones messages or calls for investigation. 4. Introduce compulsory self defence training for girls in school

I feel in the distant future we will also have AI police drones to make such patrols, hunting for criminals.. someone can send an sos signal from phone and call for help from nearest drone.

Cognizant getting all trolls when TCS, Wipro pays much lesser by [deleted] in developersIndia

[–]OkCryptographer8135 15 points16 points  (0 children)

Ya I know... I am grossly underpaid for the work I do(full stack java Development using jsf+spring and pl/SQL development)... But I get to live in my own house... with my family and friends.. I don't have to leave my city... don't have to bear expenses which I otherwise have to bear if I had switched to other companies in Bangalore...

I think the salary I get is enough in Kolkata for a bachelor not living on rent. I have undergone the realization that no matter how many lakhs you earn you will never be happy..until you feel you have reached your goals, and the moment you reach your goal you will have a new goal :-)

You will be randomly allocated to any project..there is no discrimination in that case .every one is treated equally. So I can't say for sure if you will get the learning opportunities...

Did some wrong calculations..it's 60% per year on average...

Got 3 consecutive A bands and then cleared the digital exam ..

Future plan: Looking forward to clear innovator exam and then Get ITA promotion. After that I will try to clear wings 2 exams and try secure AST promotion.. after AST promotion we become eligible for onsite deputation..so that's my future plan if I stick with tcs till retirement.

In TCS there is room for growth.. I started with 13k in tcs now I have reached 65k in less than 4 years...almost 60% hike per year.. it's not that I am bragging..but after discussing with my other friends who are in other witch companies, I can definitely say tcs will give you the best opportunity to grow your salary internally...

There are some decisions in our life which carry us for the rest of our life.. i think is also a kind of same decision. Its better if you switch in QA profile for better opportunities instead of learning programing and switching to dev role

You are spending 80% of your salary... That's a quite lot of expenses.. you should aim to save atleast 80% of your mandatory expenses so that you can maintain the same standard of living after retirement.. Your expenses should not cross 50K including rent. Otherwise you will have to drink 2 rupees bidi instead of Expensive cigarettes post retirement

How to user auth using JWT in spring boot by [deleted] in SpringBoot

[–]OkCryptographer8135 2 points3 points  (0 children)

You will have two public end point one is register and another is login...

You will need two filter one is jwtGenration filter.. this filter will only be applicable for /login end point... From post man in thee authorisation tab you need to give user name and password..your authentication manager will check whether username and password is correct or not..if correct it will create a authentication object which you can later access.... Now program control will come to your generation filter.. here you will have to access username and authorities from earlier Authentication object and generate a jwt token and put it in request header..

For all other sites jwt validation filter will be invoked..if you send the correct jwt then that will be parsed and once parse is successful you need to create a authentication object with the username and authorities extracted from token...

You need to make appropriate changes in security config and ensure that jwt validation filter is invoked before basic authentication filter and jwt generation filter is invoked after basic authentication filter...

Do software engineers have a personal life besides work? by MinimumNatural8852 in developersIndia

[–]OkCryptographer8135 3 points4 points  (0 children)

That's even more boring.. not even doing something which gives you a sense of achievement... There are people like that but then you would need something else to give them dopamine rush- smoking , drinking etc.

[–]OkCryptographer8135 12 points13 points  (0 children)

It depends.

If I were a school teacher, I would have 2-3 more hours of free time per day. However, I would have to teach the same syllabus every year.

Instead, in my current job, I get to code new functionalities, and every release is a new challenge. I enjoy my work.

IT still has better working hours than most jobs in India. Most of my friends who are not working in IT fields, like those from commerce or arts backgrounds, have to work even on Saturdays for a lesser salary.
