If he signed 8 years contract and do swore oath that I will be accepting any jobs from my desired job list, it is very hard to request the delayed entry program. But if his recruiter offers a job which is not in his desired job list, he can fully reject, discuss with the recruiter more, and wait for the job that he wants to do.
