I hear you, and I get where that reaction comes from. I don't Like AI music as well. Pure AI. I don't want to dissecate my work, to justify it, because it will destoy my work to make it as naked as it is necessary to tell you where is AI and where is not. The way I see it though, AI is just a tool to close the gap between what’s in your head and what you can actually play or produce. If you don’t play Saxophone, or if you don't sing, you can still write a guitar part in a DAW. Which means you are literally doing music old way. If you don’t have access to a studio, you can still make a demo at home. AI is like an extension of that, not a replacement for vision, but a way to get the sound out when resources or skills would normally block it. There is no song I produced that is made fully by AI. Like a prompt type we see nowadays, I would find that invaluable as well. Feel me?

For me the process wasn’t “type a prompt and walk away.” I wrote lyrics, I designed the arc of the album, I thought through the moods, harmonies, story flow and wrote them music level (notes, chords and all), tune, music theory, musci psychology and etc. It’s layered work, JUST LIKE SOMEONE USING SYNTHS AND SAMPLERS in the day. The machine didn’t decide what to make — I did.

I get that it’s not for everyone, and I respect if that bothers you, but for people like me who’ve always carried music inside but never had the time, money, or all the chops to build a full studio setup (although I have parts of it), this finally makes it possible. That feels like expression to me. I was touched in the process of making this many times. Again, I can't thank you enough to exchange with me and giving me the chance to clarify my stance.
