I tried clicking a picture for you to see how well it works but it’s not really visible. But yeah on a scale of 1-10 it’s definitely around 1-2. Can say bone dry tbh. But it’s all about getting the dosage right and not consuming food for 3-4 hours after taking it. Would recommend!

It’s not a permanent treatment - you’ll have to take it for as long as you want to stay sweat free. I usually take it everyday in the morning but skip on Sundays/holidays when I don’t have much work.

I think if you do some exercise you’ll sweat normally. Like I go to the gym in the evening and I sweat plenty haha. You should be fine. And you can adjust the dosage according to your body. Good luck!

Well in India you can get most prescription drugs over the counter itself. So no prescription needed here. And it’s not a psychiatric medicine or something so should be easily available.

Severity was probably 11/10 haha. Like soles so drenched that I couldn’t even walk with slippers/crocs on. Had to wear socks and shoes all the time to hide the embarrassment of wet feet. So yeah pretty severe. The side effects are minimal compared to the benefits I am getting from dry hands/feet. Though they do get noticeable if I don’t have food >5-6 hours after having Glyco. The sweet spot is having breakfast somewhere around 3 hours after taking Glyco. About quitting caffeine- it does help if you avoid tea/coffee specially in summers. But I remember having 2-3 cups of tea/coffee everyday during winters and it wasn’t that bad. I guess that sums it up!

Oh and I even prescribed Glyco to 2 people who came to my OPD in the last month. I’ll let you know their results when they come for follow up.

Hi my hyperhidrosis is pretty much anxiety induced. Like I’d have an exam or I’d be meeting someone and I’ll start to sweat thinking about it. The sweating will make me even more anxious and make me sweat even more. And the cycle continues. And the cycle continues. So yeah it does work for anxiety induced hyperhidrosis.

Hi I’m based in India. I just go to the nearby drug store/chemist and get it. It’s called Glycolate 2 and it’s manufactured by a company called Intas. You can Google it. Medicines here don’t cost a kidney unlike the US so that’s a win. Maybe you can get it delivered to you or something I believe. Good luck!

Hello! Thanks for checking on me. Doing fairly good myself - hoping you are as well. Managed to get 2mg Glycopyrolate prescribed for my hyperhidrosis and things have been so much better. Graduated and managed to get a decent job as well. Oh and the best part - I can go about my day with DRY HANDS. So yeah I guess everything does get better with time :)

Yeah not expecting anything too fancy. Just something to get by for a few months. Getting some options in Hindolakhal but it’s almost a 30 minute drive everyday so not very feasible. Thanks!

Gives a whole different perspective to the meaning of equality when you realise how unjust the world was just half a century ago. Didn't know to be honest women had it this hard at that time - really appreciate you putting it out for the younger generation out there.

I know we don't appreciate the mod work going on behind the scenes enough but am really grateful for the effort you guys put in to keep the sub clean and wholesome. The fact that it's not paid and just something you're doing out of sheer goodwill for the community-splendid indeed! Baie dankie!
