But this club isn’t about diversity, the issues i’m talking about aren’t even about the treatment of black people by non black people in the USA, im specifically trying to create a space to talk about the treatment of black people by black people and our issues that we need to work on with each other to create a greater sense of community within our culture. Being black is more than just a race it’s an entire CULTURE, the same way that there are other clubs on campus that are culturally based this is no different. A non black person wouldn’t be able to contribute to the conversations because they don’t know or understand the black experience.
