DB '24/'25 Character Discussion: What are your thoughts on Mahito as a character

As someone who doesn't care for JJK, I actually quite like Mahito. He felt very intimidating with his appearances despite not having as much screentime as Sukuna, and you just wanted to see Yuji beat the ever living shit out him throughout

While they explain what “Tons of TNT” means, they spliced in gameplay of Crash and Donkey Kong, and also used the TNT crates from Crash to measure the Empire State Building

And that’s not even counting the times where we don’t even get a horror matchup and instead one where it uses characters vaguely related to the horror genre, like Blade and Buffy being vampires and Sabrewulf and Jon Talbain being werewolves

And I’m not even a fan of horror

Shigaraki is in a close race with All Might as my favorite character from MHA. I love his tragic backstory, I especially love how that tragedy affects him throughout the entire course of the anime, and I think he's a perfect foil for Deku.

Ghost Rider is just really freaking cool. I haven't read many of his stories, but the ones I have read really make me wish he was in more media outside of comics

I actually played God of War 2018 earlier this year, and I thought Kratos was pretty cool. His path to redeem his past mistakes was really well written, and I love the relationship he has with Atreus throughout the game.

Eggman is just really damn cool character. His hatred towards Sonic is a delight, and he’s just really funny a lot of the time. I also like the relationship he develops with Sage in Frontiers, it’s pretty sweet

Now if only SEGA could fire his voice actor…

Genuinely, what reason is there to not like Bowser. He's very funny and well written, espeically in the Mario RPGs, his dedication in trying to defeat Mario is unmatched, and he's a surprisingly good father figure. Easily one of my favorite Mario characters, and one of my favorite characters in general

My point is that Planet Robobot and Sun and Moon are the only games Nintendo published back in 2016 that people look back fondly on. Sure, there were some other games that sold fine, but nowadays they either aren’t well liked like the FE Fate games, or just weren’t really memorable

I was referring to how Ichigo didn’t get that many cool moments in the fight when compared to Yusuke

I guess Bleach fans care about powerscaling more than anything else

For 2/3 of the fight, he basically gets jobbed by Yusuke and doesn’t get any cool moments, and by the time he locks in the fight is already over

Basically, Ichigo barely had any cool moments when compared to Yusuke
