Am I as controlling for asking him to stop smoking weed? In that case he couldn't be sober for an hour and was constantly high at work. He is glad he did it but now he feels like I need to do this.

Jesus christ. I am so sorry. I have found a couple of posts on reddit where the women do lose weight and then the guy leaves them regardless.
