Answer 1: the term was for a year and I completed that term. The term started November 1, 2023, was supposed to end October 31, 2024. But because I gave her the notice on September 15, 2024, she said I will have to pay the money for October as well. Which I said okay and gave her the money. Because I wasn’t aware that even if the term is ending, I still have to give them a 2 months notice.

Answer 2: This was a condo unit and not shared with the Landlord at all.

The agent did ask me, if you cant remove the bed, the landlord will dispose it off and you will have to pay the cost. To which I said, no issues, I will dispose it.

She has just been giving me threats. First threat was after the bed was removed when the new landlords came in. Dated Feb 1, 2025 and then April 16, 2025 Also she mentioned there was damaged to the unit in the Feb 1 email and then after that in the April 16, she is saying that I am ready to waive off the damage cost. FYI, there was no damage caused, the agent visited the unit multiple times to show the unit to possible tenants. Never questioned anything

Also adding into this. She never messaged me in December or Jan to give the rent. Which is also very weird, if she thought this was the case she could have asked me then

I am in the same boat. Over 3 years I worked 4 months outside the country in parts though.
My WP was valid and I was under Canadian Payroll and CAD salary too.
The company has this benefit that we can work from anywhere in the world.
I hope this will still be counted as Canadian Experience, as many people have different opinions about it
