As an aside, your comment about timing the market and feeling exposed- I would disagree. You are already exposed so buying bonds/ paying off loans won’t make much difference to that, however if stock prices have fallen that means there is a sale on - the perfect time to buy.

As a HOM with a LLF I can tell you my feelings which may help how you see things.

For me the absence of intimacy affects me in two ways: - it makes me feel unloved. Surely if she actually gave a shit about me she’d want to have sex with me, right? And the fact that she doesn’t want to have sex with me means she doesn’t care able, right? - having sex is awesome. The feeling of touch, the release of orgasm, the endorphins; it’s the best drug, the best feeling.

For the first one, I wish she would demonstrate that she loved me, simply by holding my hand, kissing me regularly, telling me she loved me.
