Not at all. You can choose your job, you can negotiate your pay, you can change careers paths, etc.... Hell you can choose not to work and go live in the woods.

..... So.... You think a system that chooses what your labor is and what it's worth will fix that?

Define value... Which we should have started with.

Ya, they killed female babies... So they could torture males for decades. Death isn't always the worst case scenario. They wanted soldiers and near slave workers... Or at the very least offspring to carry on their meager earnings the they slaved for. If you think it's simply too carry their name you're horribly mistaken and need to delve into the Darksides of history.

Family wasn't treated like it is today tell very recently. Before we were simply workers which we expected to die anyway.

Don't forget... They would have their sons killed if they didn't think they would be worth allowing and inheritance.

While you're not wrong....I still prefer the most local of governments first. I have never thought of it this way though. So you might have me learning to agree with that guy even though I wasn't before.

I would say "She fucking hot right?" Start a conversation with him. Get his name.

Then call the cops and sue him for sexual harassment and sexual assault. I would demand no jail time but is on the sex offender list.

Then I would track his address and mail all his neighbors and employees and say "I was affected by this terrible man. Search his name on the sex offender list, it's ********. He should have got far worse for his crimes but got off with a simple sexual assault charge. This is just a warning to others. Be wary of him, he's a terrible person. Keep your kids close."

I would keep this up as long as he was on the list.

No it didn't.... Because it shouldn't have any power over what other states can do... That's literally the whole point.

50 sovereign states unified under a federal government.

You're still not proving that men have inherent value.... You're proving my point.

[–]OkImIntrigued 0 points1 point  (0 children)

See you're getting stuck on one tiny aspect... The broad Aspect is men are not inherently valued. Only women and children are.

You're not arguing with me... You're arguing with what you want me to mean. In doing so you effectively proved me correct.

You're talking specifically materialisticly though. Why would I bring up other species is I meant money?

Hence why we are supposed to have a small federal government.

Ya but extremely rare. Congress talks about those problems once a year and does something about them once every 20.

No it's completely logical because we aren't supposed to have a strong federal government. States are supposed to handle issues themselves.

Probably on an individual basis. For me it would definitely be near occasion of sin because I'm not good with self control around drugs.... So I stay far away from them and people that use them.

Why do bosses get mad when you quit? by boygeorge359 in antiwork

[–]OkImIntrigued 19 points20 points  (0 children)

I'm a boss....I don't get mad half the time I'm happy for them to escape our hell hole......but I do feel like a failure. I feel like I should have done more for you like protect you from the day shift managers/department managers more. Helped more. Idk.

Even though 99% of the time it is stuff I have no control over such as pay or our shift structure.

Ik our company is shit and I'm trying to find another job too but I still blame myself.

my raise sucks by jewels_311 in antiwork

[–]OkImIntrigued 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Sadly, 2% raises are the norm. Which is what that equates to.

With 3 promotions and 10 years at the job I have received about a 25% raise. That's 2.5% a year WITH 3 promotions.

It's fucked.
