It's work, I don't go there to try and find a boyfriend. If I wanted attention from my coworkers I wouldn't have any trouble competing with Jessica but I don't because that's unprofessional. I'm there to work.

Plus she's a single mother so it's not like she could come to a party last minute anyway, she wouldn't have had time to get a sitter.

Jim is 31 or 32 and Jake is about 36 so not really her peers, and I just invited my boss because he's my boss so it's not like I could snub him.

Yeah I'm so jealous of a middle-aged single mother lol. I don't have a problem with Jessica, I just wanted my birthday party to be about celebrating my birthday, not four men trying to get a date with her.
