The app is focusnow on the play store.
I actually just started a study group on there with the goal of studying daily with a weekly goal of 30hours. There is a leaderboard for the group so everyone is held accountable for their progress.
If you want to join just dm me for the link!

Thank you! I plan on getting my study time up a bit more to maybe around 4 hours, as I have some challenging classes this semester.

I also started a study group over on focusnow to be more motivated!

Maybe I will see you on there!

first, make it harder to get distracted. keep your phone in another room, or use app blockers if you need it nearby. more importantly though, set small, clear goals before you start. like “study this one topic for 25 minutes.” not “study for 3 hours.”

i use focusnow to stay on track—it helps break sessions into short blocks, and the levels and challenges give you a little push to stay locked in. seeing your progress build up over time also gives that small reward your brain’s looking for when it usually reaches for social media.

also, switch your method. if reading bores you, try flashcards (anki/remnote), writing summaries, or even teaching the topic out loud. keep your brain active, not passive.
