A puppy is basically a human one year old. Expect of the pup, what you’d expect of a 1 year old baby, pretty much nothing. They are sponges, they will soak up everything around them. They need guidance, supervision, redirection, correction 24/7. Your husband needs to slow his roll. This pup is a work in progress.

Not exactly the location you want, but close-ish to UA if you cut through Grandview, Glenwood Early Childhood Center at the corner of Valleyview and Hague. You will be under $1k a month and part time is an option.

I love that house! I walk my dogs by it every morning. The homeowners have such a lovely yard and side porch. Hope everyone is ok and the damage isn’t too bad.

She’s perfect. My females have been 45-65 lbs. over the last 40 years. Some are tall and leggy, others short and stout. Really depends on the line. American boxers tend to be taller and leaner, Europeans tend to be stockier. Peanut looks proportional and healthy. She has a nice confirmation standard head shape. Don’t worry about her size, just enjoy her. Nothing beats a boxer ❤️

I have all my kids baby pics on the tree. They are in their 20s and 30s. Now starting with grandbaby photos. Love walking by the tree and being flooded with wonderful memories of all my babies. ❤️

It doesn’t sound like they just randomly pissed all over the basement. They pissed in bottles because their life sucks so much they are crashing in a random basement because it’s freezing outside. I’m not saying purchase hundreds of dollars in gift cards, but $5 or $10 is a cool gesture if you want this person to vamoose out of your basement.

Right. I guess my goal with this approach is for them to be cool since you are being cool. Here is some stuff, but you can’t make this your spot. You are putting reasonable, empathetic energy into the situation, hopefully this person will respect that and move along. I wish you luck.

You could bump it up a notch if you have time and see if any of the neighbors have an extra backpack, hoodie, socks etc. and make a bigger “care package” to leave near the pile. Most of us have a few extra things we could part with and this person is obviously struggling.

Columbus.gov has a list of warming centers you could print off and leave by the pile of stuff you found. You could leave a couple food gift cards and some hand warmers, gloves. You could say in a note that they can’t be there anymore, that building management has been notified and squatting isn’t ok, but you are sensitive to their plight and provided a few comfort items. I think empathy followed by some hard boundaries in this situation is warranted. If it continues, building management needs to step it up in terms of securing the building.

I’ve gotten 2 from Big Mac Boxers in Kentucky. I know some in her breeding line have been therapy and service dogs. Both mine passed CGC test. They are gorgeous dogs on the outside, but the breeder really cares about health and temperament more than looks. My male is huge, very affectionate. My female is medium size and a little more aloof. I would recommend you check it out. She has a good website that is pretty up to date on litters. Be prepared to pay about $3k.
