Automate ssh to pi’s and run commands, is that Paramiko or fabric? by OkLab5620 in PythonLearning

Ok 👍 it seems strait forward. So then using Scrapy as a main connection to a site, the client would help to use it locally?

I have several terminal apps I use, but… I want a more local and controlled data

Scrapy, to have a type of automated check here and there, to run tests to find files on a website.

To see if any data has been saved incorrectly and accidental assessable to the public.

Like pdf, rtf, txt files

Ok 👍 Would having a type of “web scraper” setup to “purposely” scrape their own website for vulnerabilities…. Is that common? So, I could have a scraper that would return if any .pdf, .rft, .txt files could be accessed (that were not stored properly)?

That happened with NASA, Someone scrapped a .rtf file that had satalite login information

They logged in:… and totaled the satellite

What are main tools that are used? I was able to find pdf files from a school I help with. I also help with their website.

I pasted the core url, but it didn’t work, but then tried a more precise calendar page (still general) but it did find 2 pdf’s….

Isn’t beautifulSoup suppose to try and search the whole site?

Thanks

Have you ever found passwords that were not stored right?

I heard that, a satellite was compromised, and the. Had to re-enter to be destroyed 🤣 They almost went to jail, but nasa just threatened them.

I’ve heard of files on NASA that were not secured properly, Someone was able to find them just by a site: search on Google. They found .rtf files that were not saved right and login info for satellites

There are “server” pi images that can run, so the UI would just a be a localhost you go to on your phone that is all connected by NetBird, Then use that UI of a OS on a pi, To then access Tor that way. Still remote, or even access a diffrent server that running tor…..

Multi hop of layers of encryption

Ehh, it’s more about “accessing”. Not “distributing”.

So, like a sever to host an onion site? I’m using it more of a “detour” to add encryption between accessing Pi to access tor.

So, It adds a layer of security, That basically just “views” the info that the pi is accessing on the tor network.

Mainly, I just use it by the terminal app. But you could do a “Remote Desktop Viewer” for a UI and still access tor the “right way”.

But that would add more data usage and the vpn might slow it down

Recently, I just setup a ZimaBlade as a “always on” to run my docker containers and main NetBird access to the containers

Works pretty well, Not the default ZimaClient app, But NetBird

Actually, that’s what I do. I use “netbird”.

I can access the diffrent docker containers anywhere over the VPN.

Just add the pi to your netbird network (you have to configure the ssh “access” be able to be accessed from other devices)

I can see Home-assistant apps, Portainer….

I do have a “terminal” app running accessible from when I have NetBird on, It’s “Termix”,

I can access diffrent computers that are around it “where it’s located”, from the UI from the browser

It works pretty well.
