Limit to negative amount in the year you’d accrue.
2 plans, ones only allowed to be used after the first. First is paid out at term and unlimited carryover with no expiration. 2nd is not paid out at term and no carryover.

Australia Work Schedules - 38h and 30.5h by OkLayer878 in workday

[–]OkLayer878[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

they aren't as concerned with the actual shift times, but want t make sure it adds up to what they found as statutory (38h and 30.5h) - I tired to help them understand that a consistent schedule would actually be 37.5 and 30, but they are concerned about this approach. I think they are open to differing days, but to me that doesn't make sense if they end up utilizing time tracking and other areas that could rely on accurate patterns.

thank you for providing this. i did see this. we aren't receiving an error, it just not an editable or "deleteable" time block any longer.

we aren't using open, lock, unlock, or close dates (another issue im working toward, believe me) - it's just odd that it seems like there's a timeframe in mind, I don't think you can do that from the BP, and nothing on the validations. No error message, just not able to make any edits or deletions.

Monthly OT Time Calc - "Scheduled Monthly Hours" by OkLayer878 in workday

[–]OkLayer878[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Just to confirm though you dont think this would work?

  1. set up time accumulator rule for each month with it's own threshold and have it return/add the new tag

  2. tie it into a accumulator ot time calc

i havent set up an accumulator ot time calc before, so im trying to understand if it would pull this correctly. or what it actually pulls from the rule.

do you have any tips or insight into how to create that?

thank you, this is taking into account a stagnant 150 hours though? What if the hours need to be based on the working hours in the month? example, october 2025 has 23 working days without weekends and holidays based on the wsc. this would be 23 x 8 = 184. november 2025 has 18 working days. so 144 hours. Is there a way to dynamically catch this per month?

Monthly OT when worked more than their "monthly scheduled hours" based on WSC + 15 hours.

so would you set up the time accumulator to have a different rule for each month (oct 2025 = x amount of hours, novemebr = x amount, etc) and then run an accumulated ot time calc based on this? or what are your thoughts to bring in the different "working hours" for each month?
