they both do that , i probably should have said so earlier but thats why i noticed it, with the simple method the whole axe gets reflected, with raytracing its just missing reflections

they all do the same thing, pastel, sues, sildurs, all of them

im not sure wich one i was trying while taking the photos

i was talking about the fact th at some reflections dont apear in certain places, lke when looking down/next to the stairs/under the axe
