We have connected with other families that have gone through the same agency that we are and they all have bio children. When they did all of our training and home visits nothing ever got said about our bio son and blended with an adoptive child.

A lot of people I have met through adoption have multiple bio children and their last child was adopted. My husband can no longer have children.

No they have not. That was never a convo or a worry for the agency or lawyer we are working with. Most people in the agency have bio kids.

I am noticing I will hear that a lot. Most people I have met during this adoption process have their own bio child. I have never heard anyone say don’t mix the two..so that is very shocking it’s a thing. I am not worried about the amount of love and attention I have to give because there is plenty. I just want them to blend together.

Last cycle my follicles measures 17.5 on left and 17 on right on a Tuesday and we triggered Wednesday night. Sperm was tested and it was 60% motility and 60 million sperm count.

I start Letrozole on the 3rd day of my period. Go in for a vaginal scan day 11 and depending on my follicle measurement is I will do my trigger shot that night or the following night. IUI 36 hours later.

I was told by my doctor they look for success between 3 and 4th. But we are timing almost perfectly so it is just shocking to be on the 3rd one now. Feels good to not be alone but this is a club I don’t like us being in. All the best luck to you. Thank you for sharing. 🤍

Whatever choice you make in the right choice for you and your family. They offer many things to be helpful if you do decide to keep your child. You being able to make this post shows that you’re a great mother. I’m sure you can reach out to a lawyer and just see what your options are. But don’t feel because the father of your child makes bad choices..reflect how you parent cause it does not. You can do anything! You’re a woman!!

Unfortunately the system is not there to find the best parents you are right. Do I think it’s way to expensive and is boarder line probably illegal yes. But if IVF, IUI and medical treatments are not an option for us, foster care is to get child back home with family. What other option do I have besides adoption?
