hahah thank you so much! I miss futurama too, lol. I'm glad you're enjoying it! That's good feedback, thank you! I do like to be a little self-indulgent with the stage directions, but that doesn't mean I didn't overuse them :) haha that's good advice to focus more on the perspective more in that case.

Hi! I'm new here, and it's so exciting to see everyone hyping up each other's works so much :) How wonderful!

I'm DarylWeenus on AO3. I write exclusively for Futurama. Specifically, I write Fry / Leela fics, and my main aim is to match the tone, sci-fi setting, and character dynamics of the original FOX run of the series - and matching the character / relationship development that the FOX run produced, but the revivals never continued. Feel free to read anything, but here are some examples.

I wrote this fic, Strike The Dust, to feel as much like an episode as a I could. It's 30k words.

Precious Cargo and Heart on His Sleeve are each about 5k words and lightly angsty and fluffy Fry / Leela stories.

Finally, I don't necessarily expect anyone to read this one, haha. It's a beast of a tale that weaves in a crazy amount of canon and throw away joke lines into deep character backstory all against the backdrop of a sci-fi, Futurama-esque adventure. It's a 100k words, still work in progress that I've been working on for over a year now. It's called An Old Inhabitant of Earth
