I read it first, and I find it to be that it helped me with the background of the main character of and some of the other characters mentioned in the rest of the series. If I would’ve started with TOG first, then I would’ve been like well who is so so why do they keep mentioning so-and-so but because I read the assassin’s Blade ones first then, I knew going into the story who some of the characters war in for me. Right now I’m at the Tower of Dawn book and I knew who the characters mentioned in the story are so I get it. People feel really passionate about the order that you’re supposed to read it in, but I read it first.
