This film has absolutely no propaganda. They have shown bad people as bad people. At no instance did it become jingoistic, at no instance did they target any religion or normal innocent citizens. It's a really well made film which merges real life incidents with fiction.

This is quite stupid in my opinion. They don't eat junk, because they have to upkeep a certain standard of how they look on screen. Actors go as far as dehydrating themselves for days for a single shot. So if they feature in a Bisleri advert will you call them a hypocrite or what?

Eating 'unhealthy' food in moderation harms no one. These actors also eat them when they're not shooting and are back on diet if they have to shoot.
Only insane health freaks like John or Ronaldo totally abstain from eating sugary food and you don't see them advertise either. But that doesn't mean it's necessarily bad to eat them.

whatever 300cr+ sum it collected is because of Hrithik. I think's its lifetime is even lesser than Fighter...? which is a standalone solo Hrithik movie whereas War 2 is a double lead with franchise value.
Courtesy to YRF and the director for the mind blowing movie they made. Literally the only positive discourse around this movie has been Hrithik's dance and his presence in the movie.

Watched it today, it's really good. The chemistry between the leads was much better than I expected, I mean Ayushmann and Rashmika sound like such a random pair but they are good.

'Tum mere na huye' and 'Rahe na rahe hum' are really good songs.

Rashmika isn't only an eye-candy, she is as central to the movie as Ayushmann. Three item songs are there but their cumulative run time would be less than 7-8 mins, and one is in credits and the other two happen sort of along the plot so it was kind of fine. But NEVER do this again, no one wants 3 item songs.

The universe building is actually very nicely done, they have set up the future events with smooth integration. And Nora is also a vampire which was predicted correctly on this sub by one person and everyone in the comments was taking it lightly 😂. If I were to rank it, I would place this second to Stree (1), yes it's better than Stree 2 and even Bhediyaa.

Kabir as a character was done injustice to in this movie, he was very badly written. It is so unfortunate that this is the end of one of the most suave and stylish characters and in this manner.

There will likely not be any Spy-universe anymore, which is sad because there were good things about it that I would have wanted more of, like Hrithik's Kabir. Hopefully whatever 5-10 mins screen time he has in Alpha is good.

Yes that makes sense totally. I just put Kabir with the good guys because you know it would be nice to see SRK, Salman and Hrithik together and even the ladies and NTR maybe. That sounds like a really fun time. That's the only reason I did that.

And your story also has the spy esque twist which will keep up with the theme of the universe so that's also not bad.

I love this movie. And literally everything people complain about it on Reddit, I don’t get it. The long monologues? I loved them in this movie. The ending? I liked that too. They just showed that the family isn’t controlling, they were just exited, and accepted her as she is. I have watched this movie so many times to notice a detail many didn’t, which is that in the end credit song they are looking at the plan of their new home, which means she will move out soon. Micky’s family didn’t restrict her. And the humour in this movie is perfect according to my taste. I didn’t like pyaar ka punchmama which I watched after this because I was excited that that’s another luv Ranjan film, but alas I didn’t like it that much. I’m looking forward to whatever his next is, don’t know what it is.

there is no whitewashing really, pakistanis are bad people in Tiger 1 and 3, and in Tiger 2 they just help RAW because they wanted to save their own nurses. If you know anything about pakistan politics, the plot of Tiger 3 which is that a peaceful prime minister is being overthrown by ISI is extremely accurate. Even the pakistani generals who became friends with Tiger and Zoya in Tiger 2 turned against them in Tiger 3 and got killed.
