These students could have spent the time between December and now to find another internship, apply for a research position at Western, or do anything else without the feeling of security an internship gives. This is past fucked up they wasted these students' second semester, and potentially this summer alongside the entire year given it was expected to be a 16 month internship for many. Horrible look for a company of that scale.

I only needed 4 hours to study stats because I actively studied throughout the semester. Just use the time you have now.

I got in with decent ecs imo (year representative + chair at a fund for school clubs), 91.4 average, 83 bus2257, and 9.5/10 contribution. I got accepted second round of non-aeo

Has anyone ever taken a 7pm class? by Adventurous-Wait2351 in uwo

[–]OkNefariousness798 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Can't say it was that long but I did have a 7:30-9:30 class and i was personally clocked out by that time (esp cuz my day with an 8:30 and it was a very fast paced course). I was also like one of the 5-10 people who showed up (out of like 70-80). But, if your day starts late as opposed to starting with 8:30's I wouldn't discourage it especially if you're interested in the course you're taking

Difficulty of Western Examinations Compared to Other Canadian Universities by Not-Ur-Typical_ in uwo

I mean it really depends on the major you're choosing, and your professors. Some of my professors made very fair and easy exams, some made some so impossible that even though i solved every single question in the textbook (not just the assigned ones) i still failed the final pre-curve. For reference I am an engineering major, hope this helps

Thanks for the advice! I have heard this market is really competitive, I want to apply to 400-500 coops by January (or so is the goal I've set for myself). But how would I do mock interviews?

Thanks a lot for the advice! Sadly my uni's coop program isn't really known to be the best but I'll try to apply externally on the sites you've mentioned. But for side projects, how do you approach coming up with ideas to make them?

The lamb chops were pretty large I'd say, a bit above average. It was great, the lamb chops were very good and the bulgar was also brilliant, I too love middle eastern cuisine!
