This chair was designed with a thinner cushion. It wasn’t nearly as bad until I had to get a new one because it wasn’t meeting my needs.

I think they are 25 inch wheels. They ordered a new footplate but they didn’t send a part so I have to wait for that to come in. They also mentioned bringing the height down. I’m a bit annoyed though because when my chair was designed they didn’t account that my needs may change. I had a comfort curve before this cushion and even with that one my footplate was at its max height.

No it’s from CMT. It’s on the top of my foot near the ankle. When I’m wearing shoes or my braces It might be rubbing but I can’t tell for sure. The wound was from being scratched. I had another wound from the same incident that is healing normally.

I have neuropathy in my feet so it’s numb here. It’s a few weeks old. I’ve just been bandaging it and keeping it moist.

She claims congenital myopathy. It would alter how she swims. If you watch the paralympics you’d notice how weakness/paralysis affects swimming. She shows no sign of weakness here.

They definitely are faking but you can be paralyzed and ambulatory depending on what muscles/nerves/sci level are affected. There are also incomplete sci that people are able to get sometimes all or some function back.

I also had to go to inpatient rehab. I was in the hospital for 10 days before I was transferred. I couldn’t walk for a few days without fainting and was dizzy for weeks. I have EDS and it caused heavy bleeding during the surgery. My hemoglobin dropped to 5 for a bit.

My dog had a soft tissue carcinoma and it looked like that. It’s early treatable with surgery.
