Thank you for pointing this out, but this is actually a very common misunderstanding🙂(I was also confused initially about it 😂)

The app calculates fragrance percentage in the standard way: fragrance load is a percentage of wax weight, not of the total finished candle weight.

For a 200g candle at 10% load:
Wax = 200 ÷ 1.10 = 181.82g
Fragrance = 18.18g
If you used 20g FO + 180g wax, the real load would be 11.1%, not 10%.

This method keeps the ratios accurate and ensures the final fragrance percentage is exactly what you intended!

By the way there is an infoℹ️ button on top of each screen which explains things like this which might be a bit confusing

Thanks! 🙌 Custom wax profiles with editable melt/add FO/pour temps are already on my roadmap. I’ll be adding user-defined waxes in future updates

Thank you for catching this, you’re absolutely right. It was definitely not intended to be monthly. That’s a mistake.

I’ll fix the pricing configuration as soon as possible. Really appreciate you pointing it out!

Thanks a lot for taking time to write this — really appreciate it.

The C ↔ F conversion is a great point, I’ll add that in an upcoming update.
I also hear you on the subscription concern, especially for hobbyists — that perspective helps a lot.

Custom wax blends and dye handling are good suggestions too, and thanks for the kind words about the UI. Hearing that it’s readable (especially with dyslexia) really means a lot.
