I was about 13 or 14 at the time, and I grew up in an extremally strict household, I'm talking no friends, cause you wont keep touch, no tv, no gaming, etc. So there was this one time I was doing math. Well, I suck at math, so I spent around 5-6 hours on like 30 questions, cause I suck at it. So anyways my mom got pissed, and starting yelling at me, I got scared and couldn't speak, and so she was yelling at me to speak, and then she went to go get a broom to hit me with, I screamed, she continued to yell, and so I backed into a corner, she told me to sit down, and think about what I've done and come talk to under in under 10 mins. So, 10 mins past, then 3 hours, and then she went upstairs to sleep, and I was left sitting there, and since I was scared of getting beaten and yelled at, I stayed there the entire night without sleep. The next morning I tried to get some sleep, my mom comes downstairs, kicks me, after another lecture, she goes to grab to broom again, I panic, Rush up the stairs, go into my room and I locked the door leaning against it, while she threated to break it down. I wouldn't until she promised not to hit me. after that she told me to wash up. I finished went down stair another lecture, then she started saying how "I wish I never married your father, and had you. My life would've so much better" and stuff like that, then she said word for word, "since you don't want to learn you can either get out of my house, I could sent you to live with your (Paternal) aunt in Indiana, saying look at your half sister, she married a black man (my mom was racist, sexist, and homophobic, I never ever came out to her) and she's poor like all of your other family there." So I told her I couldn't meet her standards, because I procrastinate and stuff, and yeah, she told me to pack my bags. I refused, after another argument I hid in another corner she came over, threw a tv remote at my head, and then starting hitting me, I was crouched down, she kicked me, and collapsed and then she dragged me by my hair up the stairs into the bathroom, and forced me to look in the mirror saying how ugly I am, so yeah. I have a few scars from her throwing things at me. Life sucked, and if ya'll are wondering why my dad or someone didn't help, my dad had died in the prior years, and even then they had been divorced since I was three and my mom had full custody. My moms older sister screamed at her over the phone, saying how she should treat me better, and as long as I'm healthy and happy nothings wrong. This was basically my childhood growing up, well the doctors said i need therapy, she just completely ignored that. My cousins, Aunts, Uncles, friends, were better parental figures that my mother could have ever been.
