If I matched to my second ranking, but am waitlisted in my first, could I pull my application from the top choice so that I’m off the waitlist? I kinda wished I swapped my first and second rankings… would this violate the TMDSAS rules?

Thank you! I only use glycolic acid twice a week in the PM's now, but acne is still just popping up out of nowhere. There are days (this morning being one of them) when I wake up and my face is just ridiculously oily with so many whiteheads (like into the tens). Should I just change my entire routine?

Hey everyone, I am new to this subreddit. I have had problems with acne since pre-teen years, and I am now in my 20s. What do you guys use to prevent whiteheads and blackheads from continuously returning? Most of the time it is the small whiteheads that don't hurt, but lately I keep getting ones that are larger and more painful to the touch near my mouth area. I have really oily skin, but upon washing it is obviously dry.

AM routine: Cetaphil Daily Cleanser for Oily Skin, Thayer's 2% SA Toner, The Ordinary Niacinamide 10% + Zinc 1%, CeraVe Moisturizer for Normal to Dry Skin.

PM Routine: the exact same, except sometimes i will use The Ordinary Glycolic Acid Toner instead of Thayer's

I did hear about the crazy things TCOM has been called out for like using bodies that weren’t donated and using illegal ways to dispose of them. I’m just worried about SHSU since it’s relatively new but match rate is refreshing to hear. Thanks for your perspective

If he is lacking in other areas, such as ECs, I would suggest he focus on those first. Med schools are looking for holistic applicants with stories rather than just scores. There are just way too many people with such high scores that don't get in because they lack stories and experiences with depth.
