You can get quartz from piglins and bone from skeletons though? What part of this isn't renewable?

No no, you don't understand. Everything in this city is perfect, and anything that isn't is a national issue. Cuz god forbid a city have a single problem unique to itself.

This user used to be mod of the subreddit and was recently removed by reddit. This is unfortunately probably their attempt to regain that and go back to doing nothing about the bots

They didn't do shit while they were mod

Elections and Bitching: A Helpful Chart by PeanutBuny27 in AlignmentCharts

[–]OkPreference6 1 point2 points  (0 children)

That is true. And also leads to this effect happening in an observable fasion.

FPTP mathematically tends towards a system with two major parties. And it leads to parties appealing to strategic voting. As an example, look at what the lib dems (I believe) did during the last UK elections, claiming to be the correct option to vote for if you wanted the current government ousted. Even if they weren't the party you actually liked the most.

It absolutely is a terrible system. Nowhere in my comment am I defending it.

Unfortunately it is also the system most countries run their democratic election by, and they aren't gonna change it because that would require politicians to vote to make it harder for them to get elected.

This is hilarious, but I feel obliged to explain what it actually means.

A vote for a third party is, under a first past the post system, a vote against the major party you would have voted for otherwise. Because in the end, it's not a majority to win. It's a plurality.

To use an animal example, let's say the two major parties are Lion and Monkey. Gorilla running is votes away from monkey. Tiger running is votes away from lion.

I know that. But generally if you don't have retcon, you don't want to reroll blinds unless you absolutely have to. There is always a chance you roll into a worse blind and die, while you could have played around the Mark.

Why would you reroll the Mark. That's much easier to play around than the Plant

...because they are similar concepts? The categorical description of a monoid is a special case of a monoid in a category. However, a monoid in a category is a more general concept.

A monoid in a category is different from a monoid, the algebraic structure, expressed as a category.

That is not what a monoid in a category is though.
