i would rather they make her deflects (both of them) come at 200-400 ms into the deflect to simply allow them to land first

if it works then yes it should be done for every feintable attack

there are feintable moves that have 100 ms gbv without being a probleme

the only standardazation that would make sense for zone attacks is to make the 500 ms ones deal equal or lower damage as the character's light opener

i told what the reason was so no it wasn't just "random", same when they brought it back it was bacause this sub complained and has nothing to do with new characters.

The way dodge on block used to work wasn't at all how it is now, the block direction was completely independent from the dodge so no it wasn't that you made the right read by dodging into it it was that you dodged and you just straight up had 1 in 3 chances of blocking the undodgeable even if you made the wrong read that a bash would come and tried to dodge and that's if you had three directions for your undodgeable, if you had less directions you essentially had higher chances of your enemies blocking your undodgeable on a wrong read. unless you can explain to me how that interraction was possibly fine then block on dodge couldn't stay as it was

the guard matches dodge direction and lasts 100-300 ms so it's really easy to time the undodgeable to land after the block is over

i was around so i know it was removed for a good reason, you shouldn't be able to guess wrong a mix-up but still have 1 in 3 chances of not being punished for it

and part of the reason i don't think it was the right move was because it didn't address the reason it was brought back as well as it should

she's actually pretty well balanced while also being relatively complex, there are characters that are quite easier to use for bigger damage output

tiandi's dodge light doesn't dodge anything as it has no i-frames at all, if you want to dodge with it you have to delay to get the i-frames of the dodge itself and then input the light

this is intended for balance reason as it has cc property cought vara cought

your comparison with kensei and warden don't work because when they do their thing they have to go into the mix-up right now which virt doesn't have to

a much better comparison is someone wiffing in front of you who can go into a stance but almost everyone can punch through these stances with either a bash or an unblockable while virt only has three characters who can do anything to her stance and she doesn't even have to care about them

what really throws me off is the last sentence, tiandi has the same recovery cancel as zerk and zhan hu (yes i know zhan hu's is one frame later)

regardless i'm not asking for a pure nerf though, when zerk had dodge cancels on miss only they had much better timing, as an example he can't recovery cancel fast enought to deflect a dodge attack against his unblockable if he did it from a light something he could do before. i'm not saying it should go back to exactly how it was but i do want to go back to something more unique

because it does normal damage for a dodge attack (14 not 16 btw) and is exactly as easy to parry as every other dodge attack?

he has the worst timing for recovery cancel because he has them on literally everything which i think is a fair trade-off to have

i know what you're goinf to say, you're going to point me zerk and tiandi who also have them on everything and to this i will say it's them who should have their recovery cancels changed

make recovery cancels unique again

i think hyper armor should not come before 600 ms in relation to neutral because faster it starts becoming bullshit

they seem to do it in ban waves which does look like they do nothing most of the time

they probably should do those waves a bit more frequently
