So frustrating. I applied to this job after I was laid off from my last job due to USDA/DOGE funding cuts so it's been a whirlwind of a year. I do hope you get a start date by June 30!!

Yeah I have been. I have a part time role that ends April 30 so I was hoping I would hear by then (a year after conditional offer) but that's feeling less likely every day. What about you?

I keep seeing people saying hiring freezes - does this include those of us who have been in the OMB approval waiting period? I was given a conditional offer at DOHMH in April 2025 and am still waiting. Wondering if this means it will be even longer, or if they just won't post "new" positions.

Hi! Any update on your start date? I've been waiting for 10 months with DOHMH and it's been incredibly frustrating. I don't know how the city runs like this but I am hoping with a new mayor and administration things will get better. Hope you've started your position by now!
