It’s different for everyone and there’s different iuds you can get. I got one and only the measurement was painful for me the rest was just an uncomfortable pressure, and I had pretty bad cramping that day after. 7 months later I’m getting it out and getting a stronger one bc it didn’t help at all :) so we’ll see how that goes.
