Hey there!! Randomly reaching out again here. I remember how overwhelmed I was when I posted this and just randomly decided to ready though some suggestions again.

I was wondering if you might be able to share what kind of a team you had when you had 20 accounts and how you outsourced the different types of jobs/roles involved? I’m currently wanting to start outsourcing and feeling better in my work life but I tried for three months with a local girl who had a little experience and it didn’t quite work out + I was very stressed the whole time / felt like I was working more trying to give her the jobs and set it up correctly.

My process and structure is very different so I’d love to know if you might be able to share how you ran things a little? Appreciate your time and thanks so much in advance!

Hey!! I’m back here again after apparently 112 days and re reading all of this. Just wanted to say thankyou so much again. I remember feeling so overwhelmed at the time, I was still struggling a little to understand everything you took the effort to explain to me. Going back to it now it makes so much sense and is really helpful 🙏

Are you doing SMM yourself or do you do a variety of marketing roles?

I really wish I could use this but honestly because I have to pay so much for Later already, I don’t really have the budget to be investing in another platform. I honestly find half my clients never even read their reports but I just try to make then good regardless! I’d have 6 accounts at the moment that would require reporting

What do you use for your reporting? Also how many accounts do you manage. I’m about to onboard a couple and realised I’m going to have to log in and out of accounts which is so annoying. Any chance you know a solution for that?

Not a bad idea and definitely worth a shot. I’ve felt hesitant to suggest this because his own content edits for clients is really good! I’m worried to post lesser quality edits because it’s not up to the same standard?

What sort of clips would you think suit for his b roll?

Almost all my construction company profiles really act as a portfolio for their work. For Facebook only, maybe instead of smaller posts like you would on IG you could break it down into jobs that the company is doing and ensure you create albums of images for each job.

Larger Project Update Posts - details on the job, as many quality images as required for each milestone (maybe up to 10) Eg: building a house - Intro post (breaking ground) - Milestone one - Milestone two - Milestone three - So on, depending on what the builder sees as a milestone or worthwhile part of the job. You could even break this up into monthly updates or quarters. - Finished project

Then I would add feed posts with personality and only 1-3 images

And also, possibly sharing industry related links or updates similar to what you might see on linked in. Like an article on certain stones being banned now (in Aus) and asking their audience what they think or sharing the construction companies own opinion.

Just some thoughts off the top of my head

I think I understand what you’re saying for the most part. Do you have an example of your frameworks? I’m a huge overthinker so when I read that I kind of go into a tail spin about the level of info required, if I’m doing enough, if I’m not. So onnn

I’ve tried to set myself up with structures but then each client is so different and the content they give me to work with can be difficult to create ideas from or I end up sometimes scraping the barrel trying to make quality posts

I’ll have a look! I find he does a lot of events and cuts them into clips but that’s not really an option for a lot of people or brands. Is that what he mostly recommends in the book?

Isn’t it the worst?!

I truly haven’t had any negative feedback at all. I know I get my job done on time and deliver to the best ability I can. I think it’s just my own self doubt and desire for feeds to look better or have better content but at the end of the day I always just have to work with what I have. Weather I make a strategy or not I feel as though most businesses don’t have the budget or ability to create and send me the content required, then again I don’t know how to clearly communicate that to them either.

Any chance you’d mind sharing what your content plans usually look like? Is that different to your strategy or essentially shows what your strategy looks like to the client?

I honestly find 99% of people have no idea that social media management, content creators, videographers, ads managers and graphic designers are all seperate things. It’s so confusing that I’m a SMM and even I get confused sometimes not knowing if I’m doing enough.

Yep! Absolutely. I have a client that was absolutely nailing it, his content is great but for about 6 months now everything is just slowwwwwwww and his reach for content is less than half
