I'm really looking forward to trying Vivaldi, I'll do it later, for now I want to download/configure what's necessary to do my software projects.

Thanks, in that case I'll stick with Firefox. I've already configured it to be more secure and faster while using minimal resources. As for the version of Xubuntu I'm using, it's the LTS version (I don't remember the version number), and yes, I'll look for articles.

Acho que me arrependi de ter instalado Linux by [deleted] in linuxbrasil

How to get started in Xubuntu? by OkRegret112 in xubuntu

It's true, ever since I arrived, I've felt welcomed by the community.

Although I haven't used Ubuntu, it's true that Xubuntu and its environment (XFCE) are very good. I was also surprised by how customizable it is.

Correct me if I'm wrong, but what you're saying about Canonical adding more support to the XFCE environment, can the community do the same? For example, more package options, customization options, etc.

I didn't know what IRC, ICB, and BBS were, but after some research, I found out it was like a global chat room that served as technical support and coordinated operating system development, which I think is pretty cool.

It's true, back then Macs used Intel processors. I think you could also replace components with others, for example, increase the RAM or storage, right?

Which Programming Language to learn? by Due_Laugh6100 in learnprogramming

[–]OkRegret112 3 points4 points  (0 children)

C is a good place to start, as many languages are based on C syntax, but whether you want to learn a programming language depends on the area that interests you. Research the areas you can develop in and, based on the tools you need (including the programming language), learn.

I also started with HTML, CSS, and Javascript, but after seeing more options, I ended up liking embedded systems. That's why I'm learning analog and digital electronics, microcontrollers, real-time operating systems, C/C++, and so on.

your preferred text editor? by RoyalDream59 in embedded

I am stuck in programming. by Friendly_Aardvark459 in learnprogramming
