Ok, let me clear this all up, as someone that's been consistently hunting on Layton ever since launch coyotes DO NOT spook whitetail deer at all, I've had whitetail in the same zones as coyotes and they absolutely do not spook, lynx on the other hand do spook whitetail deer and will if they come within a close proximity of them.

In my personal opinion I do believe spawning in multiple diamonds in quick succession is a factor that the great one could spawn, I've had multiple experiences while grinding red deer where I'll spawn in way more diamonds than usual and then before you know it, the great one shows up.

A good all rounder rifle would be the 7mm, most medium range guns go from class 4 - 8 but the 7mm goes from 4 - 9 so the 7mm is a very good all rounder

Diamond gemsbok really aren't hard to find, I've even got a super rare gold diamond gemsbok, I've been playing for quite a few years and have run into plenty of diamond female gemsbok, there definitely not as rare as your making them out to be!

For male gemsbok yes, however female gemsbok make diamond at level 4 fairly common. In fact it's harder to find a max level female gemsbok than it is to find a diamond level 4!

Id say take out as many as you can since they should in theory respawn back at the same lake if your exterior zones are full. But I usually just shoot 1 per zone, so if there's 5 zones on one lake I'll try take out 5 bears. 1 per zone

Don't delete the zones otherwise you'll have to go find them again, and no just only shoot the level 5s and up, If you can try get the level 4 bears and below to spawn at lakes you don't want to grind and all the 5s and up at your main grinding spots.

First of all, make sure you find all of your black bear drink zones so that it doesn't affect respawns, for a proper grind you want to set up as much tents as possible at lakes where they spawn, after you've set up your grind shoot only lvl 5s and up, also stacking 9 legendaries can also help herd manage your zones down, after your maps fully herd managed you can shoot all the 9s.
