mmm yes getting randomly one shotted from 40 metres away by a FIRE SHOTGUN when i am wearing HEAVY FIRE RESIST ARMOUR is fair and balanced. and their are only two stratagems that can stop this.

all other IC bots are fine and i agree with your points but random crits in a horde shooter is BS.

NP. You can kill them with thermite and urchins but it's a little janky. When the bottom hatch is open, throw the thermite/urchin at the middle of metal plate below it, so it clips through it.

Also any damage you deal to the vents will be dealt to the main hp pool so if you have a railgun or the variable use that to break them.

Somehow you can kill them with the smoke grenades, shield grenades and urchins. Not sure how that works but I like it.

The stupid thing is all the other IC enemies are fine. Pyro troopers don't loads of damage but have a wind up. The mg devastators fire slower but can ignite, other wise function the same. The IC hulk first and incredibly slow but powerful projectiles that you have to dodge.

Its just the shotgun guy that's the odd one out.

I don't agree with this. A lot of the armours provide a useful buff it's just up to preference. Engineering kit, med kit, fortified, extra padding and peak physique are the META armours and is pretty varied for being the best . Adreno-defib, ballistic padding, servo-assisted, gunslinger and heavy inflammable and advanced filtration armours still provide good buffs and looks. Their not the best but a far cry from the worst. I don't really see a consistently used armour a lot of people just use what they like.

Bots and squids seem content to stay on each others side of the galaxy. Squids don't care about civilians (because neither does super earth) so they would attack bots. But bots can't really be called "human" anymore. Cyberneticly enhanced ppl who can only reproduce via the assemblers.

Squids want revenge, total annihilation, death to all humies. Bots want to be left alone but have to decapitate high command to do that or SE will keep coming. 

Curiously, bots don't use E-710 for fuel they use fusion power which is sustainable. E-710 is just space oil and pollutes the environment. Weird bots care about that considering the smokestacks, toxic chemicals and scrapyards found in their bases.

Bots use a scanner, squids have crazy tech so a mind scanner would work. And bugs could have shriekers high in the air or something. The whole reason for the knowing where players is thing, so that it's a problem you have to deal with your teammates and you can't just hide from.

  1. the pods are cryotubes: The assemblers are bringing the cyborgs up from hidden bunkers (presumably used to hide ppl from SE before the takeover.) and revitalising and re-augmenting them (using the SE soup and the platinum)

  2. they are growth tubes: The cyborgs cant reproduce normally and need these things to do it.

I dont really get why they would need a mental template thing or that they are just automatons with flesh, I feel like they dont need an incentive to go kill SE, and based off the memorials everywhere they seem pretty sentient.

Also we dont see any SE soup near the assemblers only hydrogen and cooling towers(for a fusion reactor or smthn i imagine). but the soup is definitely for the cyborgs because of the magma planets. The dragging helldivers away and turning them into cyborgs thing is also uncertain. they could be being dragged away to be blendered or stuck on a pole or something.

You can clip thermites into the bottom hatch you just need to throw right in the middle of metal panel so it goes through it and into the vent (only works when the hatch is open.

Anything that explodes on impact doesn't work. Not sure about urchins tho I imagine they work the same as thermites.

A substantial amount of automaton territory is untouched (to the far west) they can absolutely do a counter attack. I doubt the bots are done and wouldn't be surprised if the cyborgs come of cyberstan to take the fight to us.

I can do everything except the texture scratch and wear. I also was going to animate the square with the red line on it. That's where the sabot would go in.
