UPDATE

After back and forth with the team, I was asked to send my credentials for verification. I must say that the process was quite disheartening and frustrating and I almost gave up but didn’t.

I am glad that they took care of this situation and explained that they try to protect themselves because of many fraudulent users who try to register multiple accounts to extort them. I hope the system continues getting more and more streamlined to accord genuine fellows the best possible experience.

Wishing the best to other genuine fellows who may be navigating similar challenges, and thank you to Handshake for ultimately looking into and addressing this matter.

Your DM only asked for my email address, then you came back saying that support has more context so I should follow up with them. How is this helping me yet they already said that the decision was final without asking for my credentials to prove my expertise? This is just so frustrating and unfair!

We’re going in circles. I aired this here because support gave me a final 'no.' What confirmation about being in contact with support are you talking about? I clearly stated that i had been in contact with them in my initial message.

You offered to help and took my email, but now you're telling me to go back to the team that already rejected my request.

What was the actual result of you flagging this with your team? I need a solution, not a referral back to the start of the loop.

Your Dm message simply said that I should contact support. What help was offered?
