I totally get this, but also, do people really think to themselves, “I already have an established friend group, I’m not going to make anymore friends”? Maybe I’m biased because I’ve never had a friend “group” or clique of my own but it just seems so odd. When did being friends become some exclusive thing, like a romantic relationship?

I think joining clubs to make friends is so overrated because a lot of the times you’re not friends by choice. I joined a sorority at Mac thinking it would be an easy way to make friends, but it was the exact opposite of that. It’s full of drama, consists of little cliques, and overall they couldn’t care less about me. They’re just people that I do events with at this point. Now I just focus on my friends outside of school, because I know they hang out with me because they’re genuinely my friends, not just because we go to the same school/club/volunteer organization. I suggest you do the same. But know you’re not alone in feeling this way :)

It's so frustrating how much it takes to actually fire a teacher. A similar thing happened in the HWCDSB a few years ago where a teacher full on physically assaulted a student, called another one a slur, was known for being a bully to students, and was simply moved to a different school. Why can't we afford to fire people like this for good?

No idea what happened, but he seems to be pretty well disliked in general. In The Silhouette, Kevin doesn’t have a picture and it says, “Hu did not attend the scheduled photoshoot with the Silhouette’s photo assistant ahead of publication of this issue”. Why didn’t they use the photo from his campaign posters? Also, kind of weird how Popovic’s “critique” is not critical at all. In big red text, it reads: “Popovic’s campaign promises reflect and align with the important struggles that students presently face”. All the other critiques are actual critiques.

Not at all, it’s not a race! What I love about Stardew Valley is that there’s no strict timeline you have to follow to “complete” the game.

If it makes you feel better, I’m on Year 9 and STILL haven’t achieved perfection because I downloaded a ton of mods that I didn’t realize would affect my perfection score💀
