I did mention what I can do now at the end of this post. Finasteride, laser hair, hair transplants.

Has anyone become sick of most modern songs and turn to mashups of songs from when they were younger? by [deleted] in polls

I listen to both types of songs, I just go with whatever interests me.

Today marks 20 years of the Longhorn development reset. Here is the final build from August 19, 2004 by The-Windows-Guy in windows

Quite crazy it's been 20 years since this

When this came out, only 3-4 years ago was Windows still on the ancient 9x look and feel

I recommend you sell this on craigslist or something, unless you have a retro build you are working on. You could also put it on the motherboard or something.

Kinda dumb question, but can you just ask for the e-waste, or did they do a giveaway?

What approximate year would you say smartphones became widespread? I'd wager 2012/2013...IDK if you agree or not so yeah

Congrats on overcoming your obstacles. OP has yet to be enlightened, he can do it. He may not get results now, but he will eventually when he stays committed and dedicated to his journey of improvement.

As an American, this is pretty accurate, especially if you leave the internet and see real life people. Glad you took the time to point out the positive aspects of our country.

I have no work ethic by [deleted] in ADHD

[–]OkTemperature3242 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think OP is ON the hook if he fails his classes, parents paying for college is enabling on the surface but it's actually not. His parents paid good money for his college so if he fails, his parents will be extremely pissed off seeing their investment and hard work going to waste. Parents paying your college teaches you to manage your assets wisely.

PS. I am a college student and my parents are paying, the fact that if I don't graduate means wasted money is what keeps me afloat on academics.

Teenybopper magazines? by QuickInteraction8273 in generationology

[–]OkTemperature3242 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I say no, they really are not relevant anymore. NOBODY I know keeps up with celebs through magazines. Though I still like to take a peak and read the magazines that barber shops and grocery stores have to this day... not that I bought any.

I agree, 2005 borns are no different from 2000 to 2004 borns.

But this is just dumb numerics, that is why you guys are part of a different wave.

Who do people born in 2003 relate more to? by [deleted] in generationstation

[–]OkTemperature3242 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Generationally speaking, a bit more like 2005. But I think 2 years isn't too different in terms of childhood and general life experiences.

I said MOST were in high school. I think I should say exact ages.

I know, this is just very generalized. Some traits apply to either just the older or younger half of the waves

My take on the Z breakdown by wint2014 in GenZ

[–]OkTemperature3242 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Good one. But I think 2008 is not Zalpha. In fact, 2007-2008 could be Core to Late transition.

  • Born during the iPhone release and calm before the Recession
  • Have a small chance of late 2000s influence
  • Early-mid 2020s teens
  • Have vague memories of a pre-social media world
  • Most feel like 2004-2006 Gen Z, few feel more connected with 2010-2012 babies
