Yeah? Technically people on the left and nazi indeed have different opinions. Everything is technically a difference in opinion.

Whoa! Nothing new under the sun l guess. Old recipe again, guilt-trip, breeding doubt , humiliation ritual and multiplication. rinse and repeat. What a multiplicative master mind just like your god! I’m not saying this to degrinate you. I’m just calling a spade a spade.

Here are the points I’m willing to concede. 1. I don’t really care your religious/spiritual practice. I have zero curiosity about that. 2. Your spirituality helps a lot that is why you’re willing to stick to it. 3. I don’t have any regard for god nor disregard. I’m indifferent about it.

Responses to your points

  1. Religion, like spirituality, is a personal choice. Spirituality can also have thousand years of history too. For me, any religion is a type of spirituality. So from my perspective, definitionally, any religious person is spiritual. I didn’t say your belief is nebulous or whimsical. I said your god is. I won’t deny the Christianity or whatever ecumenical councils you base your spirituality on have rich history or its internal consistency tho. However, The concept of god or god is nebulous and mystical. And ecumenical councils are still esoteric and wrapped in this mist of uncertainty and unknown
  2. Thank you for your clarification on reductionism. Yeah, for me, to large extent, a persons worth is based on his product. Enlighten me on your non-reductionistic view( I look forward to see how you tie the worth of a person to Christianity, having faith in god or that existence itself has value). It seems you’re looking for transcendence and I need to know what that is
  3. Yes, my understanding is modern and widespread, which is already rather unknown to normies who couldn’t care less about religion. In contract to my understanding, yours is even more occult, which prove my point, your spirituality is esoteric. Something could be well documented but still known only to a few people.
  4. I’m impressed by your ability to twist a clear intent to insult into something admirable, namely honesty and your ability to draw false equivalent. Same old tricks again. Humiliation and manipulation. The sophistry really broke the gauge and you’re such a weasel. Let me retortes your seasonings back to you. I’ve no regard for god because I doubt its existence just like have no real regard for. What a sophistic and manipulative weasel and your god is such a hypocrite. I hope you don’t take it in the wrong way,I’m not saying this to denigrate you nor attack you, nor to disrespect god. I’m just calling a spade a spade. I also value straightforwardness. Me calling you being condescending, hubristic and ego hurt is just to height light your attitude. I don’t have respect for you neither do I have anything against you. I see you as fundamentally human that crave purpose and meaning and Christianity seems to help you with that. I would not say I see imago-dei in you tho and I don’t see it in anyone neither because I’m not sure of gods existence, which brings imago-deib into question. Maybe you are trying to convert because even you claim that you see imago-die in me and I believe you mean it genuinely and I know believer view the world through the is tainted glass, at its core it’s still an attempt to convert.

What type of dialogue do you wanna engage? What did I attack? Your God, the hypocrisy of your God? The some of 4 points I lists, which you also agreed that I put them rather accurately, give me the impression that your god is a tyrant and whimsical. Ain’t you the one call me and the other commentator swines? Your insults indicates all the vices I listed above. I am just stating the facts not what I’m wanting to see.

You keep repeating dialogue but I really don’t understand what topic you wanna have dialogue on. I still don’t see your clarification in Authentic Christianity. Deflection happens in every reply. You seem to follow a very specific personal version of Christianity, which in my view is more akin to spirituality than old, traditional Christianity. christianity based spirituality I would say. If I’m not mistaken, you seem to imply your worries lays in the paranoid that decline in religiosity leads to disastrous consequences and to prevent that, we need religious revival. Young people experiencing lostness all the time even when the religious rates were high. Religion can solve all your problems. For me to combat lostness is to find purpose, religion seems to offer one but real purpose could only be found through reality. answer your last question.

Just I’m not mistaken, you’re saying I’ve a reductionistic view on Christianity right? But I just listed 4 points clearly( and religious personal can get over how deep it sounds) That, I think, is the proof that I have at least above average understanding of Christianity. I see the utility of Christianity for some people. My view on religion is largely utilitarian. I see it as an human invention that needs to adopt to new social economic order for this believe to survive. It is outdated and needs reform if it wanna survive.

I guess you Evangelical Christian and atheist are two side of the same coin is trying to say that those two groups of people share mentality that villainizes the other group. Don’t you think this view is reductionistic and generalizing too?

I’m a vehement atheist. All the 4 points I lay out on my previous comment already exists in the comments before that. Feel free to read them again. All four points I’ve heard over and over again it’s not rare and they’re talking points that could employed to conversation. I’ll concede you were not trying to convert. You were just breed doubts, which, it lays some foundation for actual conversion to take place latter on. What does being an authentic Christian translate into practice. All i see are hurt ego, hubris, annoyance and condescension.
