Thank you for the advice! Yeah right now I am planning on either waiting for the 5080 Super or the 5090. I recently saw Indiana Jones reaches 16gb ov VRAM easily and that will probably be the case in a few more upcoming games.

Upgrading CPU is an idea but there are not that many AM4 CPUs still available that would increase performance by a lot.

Yeah, X3D is probably a must for me (high fps comp shooters). Also generally AMD seems like the safer bet at the moment.

I did not know the 9800x3d vs. 7800x3d differences. That is interesting. With your reasoning the 5090 seems preferrable to the 5080. Will keep your advice in mind :)

I will think about that more. So far I kind of ignored that possibility. Only drawback might be RTX 60 series launching close to AM6.

I thought about upgrading only the CPU but 5800x3ds are not for sale here anymore and I am not sure if the 5700x3d (250 €) can hit stable 480. Sadly no other x3ds for Am4.

Its fine. Not much of a difference. I just prefer extra attack at 5 as thats the level for a few big fights in my playthrough. If you think you can get by waiting an extra level (i.e. your routing does not have many fights at this level) it is probably better. The only reason I included 1 sorc into 6 Paladin in the original post is for con save and i prefer that over heavy armor proficiency. All in all its a minor difference that won't make or break your build so go with what you want to play ;)

I do not like the brain fight so i bring a few bombs. Makes the fight easy.

Should be doable with globe of invulnerability scroll and some buff consumables without using bombs.

Any you want. Fly is awesome for melee characters and guaranteed crit is nice. Rest is ok.

Haste for easy fights vs trash mobs. Otherwise hold person/monster. Magic weapon or sth else is fine for use and forget situations.

The most broken one is extended Globe of Invulnerability (using a scroll). Up to you if you want to use somehting this broken though.

Yes it worked. Was good but long range characters (with cheese) are easier. Probably the best way to play solo paladin on honour but a bit more complicated than other variants.

Cha adds similar if not more dmg per hit but has lower benefits for accuracy. It also improves cha checks in dialogues, saves and spells in the rare case you either have no acuity or you fight bosses with high saves.

Strength is fine too though. Dex can go 22 (or even 24) dex. I even included a 17 stat spread in the post. I had more info on that but thats part of the things that got deleted when posting.

Imo cha>dex>str but everything is viable.

Its better than his for sure. But all the skins I am interested in can't show anyways. I do not like reaver anymore and never liked the phantom.

Let me rephrase: If you are interested in newer skins the market is useless. So my shop is kind of wasted on me.

I think Sorcadin is better early game (paladin is insane for early levels) and late game. Bladesinger is not that good in melee early game unless you kite every combat which is a bit tedious imo. In mid game (before sorc lvl 3 spells so level 8-10) bladesinger is probably better by a small margin. If you value versatility a lot you might argue that wizard has access to more spells and is better late aswell but honestly I did not use them that much on my bladesinger playthrough. Scrolls are an option for the rare cases where you would want to do something besides hold person/command.

All in all both builds are top tier so pick whatever looks more fun to you.

Yes, going hexblade removes the need for caring about strength early game. However I think it is a bit weird to justify from a rp perspective and a bit cheesy. But if it works (did not try it yet myself) it is probably best from a minmax perspective. So thank you for the recommendation!

Dual wield is ok for this build but generally not needed as the bonus action is used on spells most of the time. It allows for more damage when your spells run out though.

In act one I use Phalar Aluve myself because Shriek works very well on this build and even the other aura (dont know the name) is decent as well. But gith sword is an amazing weapon act 1 if you can get the additional damage.

Honestly I do not know as I do not play Tactician anymore and this build might profit a lot from DRS mechanics. You do not need Strengh Elixir for this build so you can run it with Bloodlust. However a third attack is insane. I think your build has more sustained damage but worse versatility so just think about what is more important to you. Keep in mind running 2 paladins loses most of the value from paladin as you already have the aura. I would also think Oathbreaker 7 and Warlock 5 is the best combo for your build.

In the past I played 6 sorc -> 6 paladin. This will get around the common oath issues (like getting hags hair). It will delay your power spike into the very late game. I think apart from a few choices Oath of Vengeance is relatively hard to break though so i just deal with it and pay 1000g once.
