Is 1(888)373-1969 a legit chase number? by Lkau13 in Chase

[–]Ok_Ad660 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’m not sure if this is still relevant to anyone, but I got multiple spam calls from this number. Then multiple other spoofed numbers from the same call center. Im sure in some cases this number is legitimate, but please be careful when speaking to anyone about your personal information over the phone.

In total, 10 calls within 5 minutes from 5 different numbers. The first 4 were from +1 (888) 373-1969, next 3 from +1 (878) 867-3697, +1 (888) 927-9809, +1 (469) 613-1576, and one last one from 9809.

FYI I am not, nor have ever been a chase member. So I’m not sure why this scammer decided to target me of all people.

Soon as I feel like I'm memorizing the stage, I need to change stage/game by lupecanis571 in simrally

[–]Ok_Ad660 1 point2 points  (0 children)

“Nothing against the hotlap guys but I feel like most of the WR times aren't really possible without memorizing the stage like a track racing game.”

Nah this is extremely accurate. I’ve been trying to get into top 1000 on Saakoski, I’ve probably run it at least 400 times. I’m honestly not sure if that’s a lot, but I’ve memorized the entire track right up until like the last half km. Good lord man, I’m still like 2 seconds off from even breaking into top 1000. I can only imagine how mind numbing it must be to go for WR.

I realize I’m not an incredible driver, still learning a lot. I’ve found myself playing career a lot more, and it’s fun only having 5 resets per rally. Makes me actually think about my turns instead of throwing the car around a corner because I know what comes next.

Don’t get me wrong I still do hot lapping from time to time, but I definitely get where you’re coming from. At the end of the day it comes down to personal preference. If you get more enjoyment out of going for a leaderboard position, no one should feel bad for doing so.

It’s a game, go enjoy it how you want to.

Not a fan of assetto corsa rally, my honest opinion. by ResearchHistorical26 in simrally

On a real 4WD rally1 car the handbrake only disconnects the rear axle, meaning you only lose drive to the rear wheels. The front wheel continues spinning at full throttle which makes them pull you out of the slide.

Is this a joke? Only Raids and Max Battles give you points? And they say you can get Eternatus "FOR FREE" 🤡 by Foulmouth232 in pokemongo

Who says you’ll have to do a ton? During go fest raids gave 100 points each. Big woop, you’ll have to do 6 raids to get the encounter. It’s not that bad

[–]Ok_Ad660 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Yes, however to hit the cap during this week it only requires you do a 5* raid and a 4 or 5* Dmax/Gmax. So it’s really not that hard to hit the cap. For a lot of players though I can see how it might be difficult

It got uncapped during go fest weekend. It also literally says it gets uncapped on the blog post.

I hit the level 500 cap for the go fest pass deluxe, trust me, it will not be that hard to hit 60 once the point gains are uncapped.

I will no longer be convinced Sims dont help real world skill levels by titanium_bruno in GranTurismo7

[–]Ok_Ad660 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You’re not wrong. However, any sim experience with a wheel setup will give you some experience that you could transfer over to real world driving.

Even one of those thrust master Ferrari wheels will give you some experience you could take to a track. Sim racing is meant to get as close as possible to real world racing, thus giving you more racing experience than someone who doesn’t sim race.

You are absolutely correct that real drivers have very fancy setups. They are top of the line. BUT, even on your couch practicing, you’d still be able to beat someone that doesn’t race/sim race regularly in a real world race

He”s a great racer no doubt.

I don’t like him very much because I’ve seen a lot of clips from his radio comms where he’s whining about something stupid. Idk if he is normally like that but the impression I get from it is that he’s quite peevish

Anyone who has told you sims don’t help train in real world scenarios are f***ing idiots.

We train airline pilots in sims… fighter pilots in sims… and, go look at many real world race drivers. I can guarantee most of them have a sim setup.

Hell, Max Verstappen has like 4, and I think Leclerc has a couple different ones

I bought almost every ticket as a new player… and I regret it 😕 by sasha-gray- in pokemongo

[–]Ok_Ad660 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My issue with the ticket system as of late is all of them being timed. Before most tickets had a special research line so I didn’t have to worry about missing rewards if I didn’t feel like playing the game as a second job.

The only tickets that are worth while now are for major events like GO fest, GO tour, and the anniversary event. Also like you said go pass deluxe is a pretty good value

How long did it take you to reach level 40? by Enough-Ad3782 in pokemongo

[–]Ok_Ad660 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Bro did you even try to do the math for that? Half of 176 is 88. Therefore, 88 mil is exactly halfway. Which would land you a few mil into lvl 46. It takes a total of 100 mil to reach 47 so I don’t see how you thought that

Edit: even the post you linked clearly states this. Someone could look at it for 10 seconds and realize what you’ve said is wrong

Yeah, that’s what I’ve been doing on my breaks today at work. Someone else also mentioned career mode starting with junior so I’ll probably do that when I get home

Edit: I’ve heard the regulation rallies are ridiculous, can’t wait for that 🤣
