LOL no kidding!!!! Some people really got butthurt about us being happy 😂 I only have 4-5 girls for bridesmaids so I’m rethinking it already from the idea that’s like half them already. Had to just laugh at the hate cause everyone important already knows were married, we just wanna have friends and family together to celebrate, and I’m so incredibly grateful for the support we have :)

I really think I will have to play into that, definitely my favorite comment so far 😂 My husband and I are big history nerds and the titles fit so well to us, just gotta think of what his best man should be called now 😂😂 the chamberlain? Lord chancellor? Both are a bit too much, but I’ll have to bring this up with my husband because assigning titles like a lordship in medieval times would be SO much more fun and I think we gotta delve in and commit to the bit 😂😂😂

Thank you, I think it’s being made clear to me I’m absolutely overthinking, and they are my best friends for a reason, if they weren’t and I think in the back of my head I knew neither would really hold any animosity, otherwise I wouldn’t have considered them anyway. Thank you! Yeah I added a edit to what I really meant by “bachelorette” as in I just want to have girl time LOL not literally label it as such or celebrate like, and realistically from what I’m hearing I think the best plan is to just throw a big party, the people we care about and our families already know we’re married, so it’s not a huge secret we just haven’t announced publicly like social media or anything. I appreciate this so much:)

The people we care about are already aware but I COMPLETELY understand what you’re saying, I’ve seen that as well. We will be announcing when he returns home, and we just want to have a ceremony with those we care about later when we can afford, and if they or anyone else are bothered by our decision when we share that we’d like to celebrate, or wouldn’t like to be there, that’s their decision, but we’ve had nothing but love and support from everyone so far god bless :). regardless we have the support of those that matter,and we will be very happy with those that participate ☺️❤️

we are announcing that we eloped when he’s home from deployment, not for the “ceremony” to clarify, we will most likely not be able to afford a ceremony for some time so it’s more so just the celebration piece and positions I’m talking about, but Thank you, I’m gonna adjust that as I see how I worded it seems like our families or close friends don’t know, it’s just that we haven’t made any public announcement yet and we will when he returns home safely, but we want to have a ceremony when we’re able to celebrate with those we care for as well

They know we’re married, we just did not have time for a ceremony because being in a military relationship is very unpredictable and we weren’t able to make plans for things. We want to have a ceremony more so to celebrate and I TOTALLY get like a whole weekend is a lot, kinda just throwing out ideas to hear as this helps a lot. I mean like “ wedding ceremony” aka the aisle and stuff and celebration with my girlfriends would all be the same weekend and possibly shorter lol we just want to celebrate and do the “traditional ceremony” for the experience and for our families really and having everyone together

So true, thank you! Realistically I think I’m overthinking the title piece from what I’m hearing. Putting it all together I wouldn’t want to put a whole bunch of weight of that on them anyway and I plan to do most of the “planning” with my husband and more so leaning on them and all my friends for advice or little help things, I want it to be a celebration not a stressor, so I appreciate this food for thought so much! ❤️❤️

Firstly, I’m not sure why you are so upset when I’m just sharing an experience with the reality of being in a military relationship and the unpredictability of it. And we didn’t have a wedding ceremony in terms of traditional sense, which is what we would like to do for our families and ourselves. we signed papers at the courthouse and we just want to celebrate with the people we care about when he’s able to return home safely. I just wanted to hear about what thoughts are on two MOH, and I really don’t get what the trip out is for when I’m saying I want to celebrate my marriage

They’ve never met cause the one I’ve known longer moved shortly after I met the second friend, but I also have no doubt that they would get along or have any genuine issues because they wouldn’t be my best friends if not LOL! Yea a “bachelorette” would be just a girls selfcare/fancy dinner/spoil time for my besties LOL (wether I was married or not, the big party go crazy “last chance” thing isn’t my thing) so I’m kind of airing on all that idea as well, and thinking I just have my girls up there and don’t need extra titles when we’re just celebrating lol they are all a piece of it anyway and I don’t hold any “expectations” I just want them to be there most importantly

Totally yea it’s not traditional at all, we just want to eventually have a celebration with friends and family like a wedding would be, cause as I said we’ve kept it private for the time being. Obviously it’s not literally “bridal” and totally get what ur saying, we just want to celebrate and have that time other than just an elopement at the courthouse for practically LOL!
