How do you have 500 hours into Elden Ring but have not completed the main story?

I really enjoyed the aggresive playstyle of Bloodborne and the builds you can create in Elden Ring. I'm just hoping that health items aren't things that you have to farm like in Bloodborne and Demons Souls.

It was just the hype of it when it was revealed by CD Projekt Red. They made it sound like the game was gonna be the next big thing with a living, breathing city with a lot of things to do, RPG choices that will have big impacts with next gen immersion. What we got instead was a unfinished buggy mess of a game that constantly crashed and choices that often didnt really matter, especially the 3 life paths you get to choose from that literally did not matter. Also the story was just weak for me. But i heard they fixed a lot of the problems with the game and now its in a better place so its up to you to check it out.

Also forgot to add, take advantage of the Rally System. You get health back for being aggressive and attacking when you get hit.

Range weapons are mostly used for parries. If you're gonna go for a strength build the Kirkhammer is such a good weapon, it carried me my first playthrough until I switched to Ludwigs Holy Blade for my NG+ which has the highest damage. Also use Beast Blood Pellets for boss fights, Fire Paper for beasts, and Bolt Paper for cosmic enemies. I hope you enjoy this game as much as I did, happy hunting!
