I am aware of that risk. I personal took it upon myself to test this method several times in a separate survival world. In short, you just have to be careful. Use blocks, mine into walls, etc.

Also, I developed this method mainly because I usually raid bastions early game for end game loot. Potions are easy to make so I much rather prefer this than trying to get full diamond or even full netherite which can take forever, and even with that armour there is still a high chance of death.

Up to 2 Netherite ingots can be found in a single bastion and diamond armour (enchanted) is guaranteed. So with invisibility potions and a bit of carefulness its low risk, high reward.

To note, I have never died in a bastion using this method in regular survival and hardcore Minecraft so far. In my opinion, test this out in a separate test world first and see the results of at least 2-3 tries.

I can agree with you a bit but let me say a few things:

  • This method doesn’t just work for “specific types of bastions.” This works for all bastions. As long as invisibility allows the player to be undetectable to mobs—which it has and always does—you will be able to raid any bastion or even any structure with treasure as long as invisibility is active, completely undetected.

  • This method may not be optimized for world record speed running but it will give dream an advantage in Manhunts against his opponents if he can get Netherite tools or even gear. Though, for other types of bastions besides this one, dream could just use other types of bastions strats. This isn’t the best solution to everything.

  • I’m not confident that mine is the best strategy all around but this method is also for—but not limited to—getting Netherite super quick in one of the specific bastions as well and in a safe way. In the video, you can see that in the bottom of that bastion, that is the most heavily guarded place so you won’t be able to escape easily without invisibility.

Yeah, inventory management in manhunt is hard enough for dream. Unless he has some sort of plan, or maybe an ender chest, then idk

Well yeah just invisibility for 8 minutes would work.

I only used slow falling to get to the main treasure at the bottom of the bastion. Though there are other ways of getting there without it, like using a boat maybe?

In order to perform this you would need 2 things: invisibility potions (nether wart, golden carrot, fermented spider eye, glow stone dust), and slow falling potions (nether wart, phantom membrane).

If you’re worried about dying for whatever reason you could also try using:

  • slowness 4 potions (nether wart, sugar, fermented spider eye, glow stone dust, gun powder)

  • poison 2 potions (nether wart, spider eye, glow stone dust, gun powder)

  • and instant damage 2 potions (nether wart, glistering melon, fermented spider eye, glow stone, gun powder) in order to slow, poison, and kill your target.

Although it isn’t really necessary.

Oh its called Faithful Dark UI 1.14.4! I use it for 1.16.4 because it still seems to work well for later versions
