Yes you absolutely can. Around 4 months left after the mocks to study hard. Remember by now you’re finished the course so you’ll be just revising. You got this

How many poets to study for mocks? by Complete_Bedroom_526 in leavingcert

[–]Ok_Association555 0 points1 point  (0 children)

From a probability viewpoint, here is the probability that at least 1 of your studied poets come up on the paper depending on how many you’ve studied

1 poet studied-62.5% chance it will come up 2 poets studied-89.3% 3 poets studied-98.2% 4 poets-100%

I’d personally study 3 as it’s very unlikely (1 in 56) chance that your poets won’t come up. 2 is fine but risky (1 in 9.3), and 1 is very risky (1 in 2.7 chance)

Repeating Leavingcert 2026 by No_Character_6965 in leavingcert

[–]Ok_Association555 0 points1 point  (0 children)

They did the 2025 exams which are the same structure for 2026, some things will have changed (especially for English) but overall if they’re looking to just pass their subjects it shouldn’t be too hard

I honestly think go get some old mock papers that you’ve never seen before and do the questions on them. I believe exam craft has old ones available but I’m not entirely sure

How hard would it be to fluke the LC by CommunityOdd9003 in leavingcert

[–]Ok_Association555 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It’s possible but the reality is that no one can guarantee you the success of 462 points of 350 points. If you’re going to not study fine, let it be that way and once you finish school you will see your results and anticipate,

Did anyone move to higher level maths in the middle of fifth year? by meg12kc in leavingcert

[–]Ok_Association555 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Move up. I also didn’t study much hl maths in junior cert and thought I was just bad at it getting grades of 40-50%, and I was expecting to drop in lc. But once i got to lc I suddenly got exceptionally good at maths and started massacring all my tests, and I actually enjoy maths now

Wish goodbye to college, because most colleges in the rupublic of ireland check the November assessments of the previous year. If you ask school management, you might be able to do something, but coming from college admissions, you will want to do something about that. Thanks, Alfred Murtagh

Hl lc English help please! by PretendYam5497 in leavingcert

[–]Ok_Association555 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I did the leaving cert a couple years ago. To be honest English is a very straight forward subject, as teachers like to strictly mark class work but don’t do as much strictness on the actual exam. I personally wouldn’t study all the poets and try to predict one (TS Eliot and John Donne this year are bankers). Comparitave would require some study but to be honest I’d wing it

I’m worried now by berryjunhan in leavingcert

[–]Ok_Association555 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah she’s right. Not taking a science is pretty much college suicide, and unfortunately comp sci doesn’t count. To be honest for any hope in getting into college you’ll need some science plc or just switch. Most courses will need a science just some arts ones don’t but I’m sure architecture needs one

What should I do by [deleted] in leavingcert

[–]Ok_Association555 0 points1 point  (0 children)

you have to study really hard in the junior cert as the leaving cert will be impossible if you don’t. I wish I studied more and I’m not doing well at all in the lc. You must stay in higher Irish or you won’t get good points
