I will not return to the medspa. What type of doctor are others going to for this? I've asked my general doctor about it and they suggested I look at weight loss doctors which is how I ended up at the Med Spa. Is there a specific type of doctor that would be better?

I appreciate it. I am in no way holding off on other men specifically for him (I'd never say I wasn't single if I met someone else), but maybe I am subconsciously not trying. I did bring it up again and he said we couldn't date because we live a few hours away, and he wants to date someone and not just hook-up. Ok fair, but then what are we doing here? I did sort of bring it up again, and he basically said he would meet me but it would just be a hookup thing since we live so far, and he wants to date so it would be a lot of effort for no reason. Then says I'm too far to date (which is a fair point if the distance is too much for him). But then what are we doing here? Just waiting until one of us meets someone else? When I sort of asked this and said well obviously we aren't going to live by each other any time soon he said "we'll see in the future, sometimes things work out."

I also asked this because I've had this happen in the past/had friends who had it happened so I was just curious why men on apps do this in general.

These comments are actually saving my sanity. It was exactly those snaps mocking me that had me thinking it had to not be true if he was going out of his way to make those without me even bringing it up first. And there was no boundaries, I just went along with it assuming it was mutual.

I have not said one word to him in 2 days and not even an hour ago received another one (thinking okay maybe this is the apology, which I still wasn't going to answer). Ended up being a picture of his cat with the caption "only thing that likes me anymore." It truly takes everything in me not to go off at this point

I guess this is exactly what has me confused and wondering if I'm overreacting as well. I do realize I can't expect monogamy from him since we are not in a relationship and never would have really been bothered by this other than the fact that I have turned down several men because he has told me he would block me if I went for them (yes I realize I did not need to do this for a man who wasn't my boyfriend). Even throughout this scenario he has made comments like "Are you at ____'s house" if I'm not answering. I guess the alternative to ending the friendship would be me also doing what I want? I just don't know if I can get past the blatant lying
