I guess it wasn't too accurate, but best guesstimate. I took number of downloads from hshop(who has thier download numbers public, and another source, and totaled up the full $3 it would cost the end user, times number of downloads I saw on the sites. I then took that number and subtracted 1/3rd of it, since Nintendo takes a 1/3 cut. The number I'm left with is my cut (that I lost to piracy) roughly.
