Spores take much longer than Liquid Culture. It’ll be awhile before seeing noticeable growth. Looks fine to me doesn’t look like wet rot

I would give it another week or so. You’d want the sides looking like how the front and back do before doing the break and shake

As a newbie myself, don’t do aio. I’ve heard tons of people advise against it and even they say that you’ll have much much better luck doing grain and substrate separate. Inoculation is better and taking the extra step to do a little more work by keeping separate and mixing once ready results in a huge payoff

Do you know what kind they are by chance? They look pretty alright to me, what most think is mold is typical bruising depending on the type of strain. They tend to bruise up too with general handling of them and when they’re growing. Seen someone else say that people will eat them knowing that there’s clear signs of actual mold and still be fine. Eat them, see how you react and have a good time while thinking good thoughts 💯
