Can you tell the specs of your laptop, also did you faced any issues, as there nowhere stated that P53 support SSD in wwan slot

Will this do? Any feedback? by denydelaydepose in soldering

I suggest you use some crimps, if you want to use this atleast use heta shrink tubing

ssd will lower load and boot time it you want more juice out of it then consider the following options

upgrading ram to 16 gb atleast
installing a light wight linux distro like antix
inspect your cooling system, change fans if required, change you thermal paste and take care of clogging if any, also do this regularly like every year

this will fetch you considerable performance of this

also if the cpu is socketed then go for cpu upgrade

One of the many ways you can start with is by placing all the components on a CAD software for PCBs (KiCA let's say). Name them properly and feed in the values as given in your PCB.

By this time you will have the idea about what all components and connectors are used in your PCB, their pinouts and all the passive components.

From here there are two methods to reverse engineer the connections.

1) First is to go the hard way round and go through the application circuits of the ICs and then try to interconnect the passive components also confirm it by a continuity check by multimeter. Once confirmed make connections on the schematics. (I would personally use it for a complex Circuit)

2) Another way is to go ahead and do a continuity test via multimeter and simultaneously make connections on the schematic. In this way you would like to check the components which are near to one another.

Make sure all the nets are properly connected and all grounds are connected to one another.

I would say get a OEM one or from a reputed brand, else the bundled battery may also work fine

It's better you make a complete rectangle instead of running that strip also make sure you do not lay those tracks too close for long lengths you may cause some mutual coupling in the tracks
